she started throwing up on sunday and was all mopey (not moving around much, whining a bit, not herself) so i took her to the vet. last night after work. she was vomiting blood and the vet. couldn't say exactly what was up, but he thought it was an infection so he gave me some meds and sent me home. after about an hour, she was not good, so we headed to the emergency clinic. she died in the car. i'm still not sure exactly what happened and i had the vet. run a blood test so that might answer some questions, but it was all very VERY fast. thanks for the sympathy guys. she really was my best friend and this was very unexpected. she wasn't just a dog to me, but at least i've got tons of memories.
