Well... Christmas approacheth. Sarah arrives today, and she left early to avoid the traffic and bad weather, so she'll be here sometime this afternoon! I hope that she's doing okay on the road. I agree. Non-Japanese speaking fans shouldn't be criticized for loving the English version of a game. I share that attitude about anime, too. For example, the English dub of the Sorcerer Hunters anime differs significantly from the original Japanese but I find it infinitely more enjoyable. They took a pairing that should have been canon in the original and made it so in the dub. They took out a lot of the boring, stupid stuff that really made no sense and replaced with stuff that really mattered. :D

I think what matters is that people are allowed to like what they like. Any writer knows that in the end the story belongs to the reader... once they've internalized the story, it's out of your hands. That's part of the joy of storytelling, isn't it? You put it out there, say "There it is," and let it grow.
