Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobie

Being 'The Number of the Beast" from the book of Revelation, hence the phobia.

Thing is, apparently, after centuries of avoiding numbers with 666 in them, scholars have examined the original texts again & come up with the idea that actually, 'The Number of the Beast' is 616 - which is the alternative often given to hexakosioihexekontahexaphobics!

It's a strange ol' world, & I'll stick with 'Riboflavin', 'Vitamin B12', or even Marmite.

I like riboflavin better too !

:)

I didn't know though that this phobia was so "deep" in some poeple's mind that they actually had a word for it.

Gives them some sort of justification for all the expense of their Classical education. Not to mention confusing the heck out of the rest of us!
