Why I`m here, and a Thank You!

I keep this LJ as a means to view fan fiction, and I`m making this post because one of the many great authors on my f-list is starting a new journal/community for her fan fiction. She requested that people who wanted to stay friended to her journal should put up at least one post on their LJ, and tell her a little bit about themselves. She didn`t

That's actually a good idea. I wish I would have asked my f-list to do the same, b/c there are a few people on it who have blank LJs and it is a tad disconcerting sometimes when you add someone as a friend and you see nothing on their LJ, not even "Hi this is my LJ!" or something. :)

Hi Maggie! Nice to meet you too, although you and your wonderful boys has been a very important part of my life for the last two years or so. LOL! I hope you know that.:))

Well, thank YOU Rory! I can totally understand, and I am not surprised at all that you would want to know a little bit about the people who read your work.
Actually, as you probably already know, you are the one that made me do this. I was a good girl, and did as you requested.:) So, I really hope that I get to stay on your f-list, and that I will be allowed to continue to enjoy your writing.

Hi there and kudos to you for your post! Your English reads beautifully to me, as well. I am about to cut back my flist because, to me, I feel a bit strange about the empty LJ's - it's different when readers with empty LJ's give comments so I can get a sense of who they are, strange as that may sound.

I am about to cut back my flist because, to me, I feel a bit strange about the empty LJ's - Yeah, I understand that, and I have to admit that I got a bit worried when you posted about culling your f-list.
it's different when readers with empty LJ's give comments so I can get a sense of who they are, strange as that may sound. - That doesn`t sound strange at all, and I guess I may be one of your more quiet readers. But I haven`t been all quiet though, because I actually have been commenting, to show you my appreciation.:) I have read and enjoyed your wonderful work for a long time, and believe me - I would truly miss it!
Well...I guess you already know that I would love to stay tuned, and I hope that you will let me.:)

I was a quiet reader at first too, one day I decided I had to comment and thank them for sharing their incredible writing, - yeah, and then you even started writing yourself, which is just great! It was nice to see you post your story again. I haven`t had the time to read chapter 13 and 14 yet, but I will do soon. Looking forward to it.:)
