Wonderful. I loved the meetings with Sirius and Remus. But this is the line that made me tear up:

She was kneeling on the lounge floor, her long bare legs tucked under her and covered by her black skirt.

Is it so strange to think that Severus Snape might have loved his mother? I'm off to find tissues, thanks very much. :)

Love it! Little Severus is just so cute, but at the same time, you can see traces of how he is now there, too. Eileen is so enjoyable and Tobias is -- heavens forbid -- amusing as all hell. Good work! :D

that was lovely. Great, very nuanced characterization of Eileen and Tobias. It's nice to see them so original. Young Severus is a darling, and I loved his excitement about the books. I love the idea of Eileen and Walburgia knowing each others well, and Eileen's pride in her family.

I enjoyed that, very skilfully done. I loved the scene of Eileen playing gobstones with him. So many lovely bits in it.
