I went to the ER yesterday because I got in a nasty bike accident on Monday. I started feeling pressure in my head (I landed on my skull) but the Dr. said I checked out okay and sustained only a mild head injury. He said that my helmet probably saved my life. Glad to hear you weren't hurt! And I promise to wear my stupid douche helmet whenever I ride my bike, as much as I fucking hate the damn thing.

I actually thought about your extensive battle with wearing a helmet immediately after this happened! I hope all is well with you. Did you use a sticker company to create your foul helmet comments? My creative juices are flowing and I'm in the market.

I ended up just going to zazzle.com and making a few stickers. One of them says "bike helmets suck." and another says "if you can read this, the bitch fell off."

i was just noticing yesterday how few bikers wear helmets in berkeley!

eek eek eekk. I am so glad you were wearing a helemt. When my mom broke her nose falling off the bike...(HILARIOUS STORY!!), she was luckily wearing a helmet which wouldve been super serious had she not been wearing one (for her head). I am dedicated to getting my bike off my landing and starting to use it, I am tottall scared. You are the the second or third person I know who has had an accident this year.
