This past weekend, I had the fortune of attending the Pikes Peak Writers Conference in Colorado Springs. It was my first writers conference, and it was also amazing! I came home with so many new tools that I want to implement into my work.

I thought I'd share ten things that allowed me to really immerse myself in the writing world.

I've attended PPWC twice, and I also really like this conference! Both times I attended with a good friend (who no longer lives here, sigh), and you're right, it really helps to have someone there to discuss things with and to share seminars. I felt that the people who attend this are very friendly! I'm glad you had a good time :)

FLASHY PENS!! We were talking about flashy pens on Saturday night. I want to find mine and start using it again. O, Flashy Pen, how I love you.

Mine died a llooonnngg time ago. It was used by my daughter as well as me. She understood the coolness of writing in your journal with The Flashy. :)

There are actually a few more coming up. There's the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers in September, I think. The SCWBI local chapter one in August and September. Again, I'm not 100% sure on months, but google them. :D :D
