Last night, I went and saw my EE RotK DVD again. Y’know bored as I was. And I was really saddened that there is no more Lord of the Rings. I mean reality hit me pretty bad last night. I watched the farewells on Disc 4 and felt what the cast and crew felt. If that made any sense at all. I was in such an emotional wreck, my eyes were bloodshot red.

I feel the same way. It's only been the last month or so that I haven't been daily consumed with LOTR obsession. Probably because I have no time! Actually, I finally made the LOTR collage for my coffee tumbler. I also was watching the second disc of ROTK EE with cast commentary. I had to stop after the ring is destroyed because I'm supposed to watch the commentaries with my friend, and we already know we're going to be totally depressed at the end when the cast is like, that's it, no more. Well, there's the director commentary too, but then it's really over.
I cried watching the bonus stuff and the Cameron Duncan parts too.

If I didn't spend so much time on LJ.... ;)
Oh yeah, more on the sad sods thingo. One of my students today (I teach at a tutoring place) said he read LOTR before the movies came out and I got all excited and started discussing it with him. He thought I liked Legolas best (I like Aragorn), I wonder why he thought that.

I get pissed off when people do that. Just because I love Orlando Bloom doesn't mean I prefer Legolas. Please? I love Gandalf and Boromir (For the record)! lol.
I have to confess that I saw the movie then read the books but reading the books made me a far better fan than before. Did I make sense? lol.
