Bwhaha. I *love* that one. He's such the perfect mix of grumpy and annoying and so damn loveable. It was pure joy to watch the development of his relationship with Sam. And I am still convinced he and Bra'tac get together to complain about the young ones. ;)

And for fic, I highly recommend astrogirl2's sole Stargate fic (Jacob's her favorite character...she just watched Threads for the first time, poor soul). Scenes From a Blending (I'm biased since I bugged her to write betaed it.
Man, so many fantastic Jacob eps. Last Stand was great with Daniel and Jacob together, the two masters of snark!
But of course, I will always have a soft spot for Jack and Jacob scenes. Like in Enemies (I think), where Jack is giving Jacob a hard time about lending them their mothership newly stolen from Chronos. And Jacob is doing his "I am of a wiser, elder race" riff just to drive Jack nuts and Jack returns the favor with his "I am flippant and refuse to take you seriously" routine.
Oh, Jacob. You are so much love. (Who knew he had such potential when he showed up in his first episode and made Sam cry? Big meanie.)

Thanks for the links! The tok'ra are rather fascinating as a whole. Though, I totally don't blame SG-1 for only really ever trusting Jacob. Genius plot device, if you think about it, a way to bridge Earth culture and alien allies. I don't think I can ever write Jacob enough.

I absolutely adore Jacob in Evolution part 2, it’s one of my favs that he’s in: Siler: How's that, Sir? Jacob: Pretty good. Reminds me of my old football days. Siler: They had helmets back in those days, Sir? Jacob: Funny.
The dynamic with Sam in that episode in particular, I just love for some reason: Jacob: Sam? Sam? No, don't move, just lie still. What hurts? Sam: Everything. Jacob: That's a good sign.
(And am I bad if I also add in this non-Jacob part?): O’Neill: So. Miss me? Sam: Of course Sir. O’Neill: Well it couldn't have been that bad. You're all still alive. ...
O’Neill: Hey. So nice command. Sam: We did manage to make it out alive, Sir. O’Neill: There's that. Lunch?
Oh...now I have to add Evolution to my Jacob watch. (Such a burden. After all, there is also GRITTY DANIEL ARM PORN! *swoon*)
