News has just reached me of the dreadful events of Tuesday night. I am at a loss to know what to say or think. Surely it cannot be that a preacher, (one who is meant to spread the Good News at Easter Time ); . . . . surely such a man could not have done those evil deeds. It is beyond my comprehension.

It's hard to believe that humans could have such hate in their hearts, and that they could do such awful things as kill girls for "spiritual cleansing" purposes. It is truly sick. I hope this hasn't upset you too much, Anne.

Thank you so much for your concern, Cassie, dear. I am quite distraught at the moment. Jenny, though, has given me an idea that might help me. I am taking a Retreat myself over the Easter Weekend with a group of Anglican nuns who will provide the support I need for reflection and meditation.
