i have worked the past 3 days with several heart transplant patients and patients that have undergone open heart surgery (cardiac bypass).

now, i am leaving for tucson.  jake's father had a stroke.  this is when being a cardiac nurse is good/bad.  i fear for what we'll find at the VA Hospital when we arrive and i cross my fingers that he will
