Great, great list...a lot of the same things I'm listening to lately. Even "Strangers" (because of The Darjeeling Limited soundtrack)...damn, The Kinks were so freaking good.

thanks. yes, the kinks have been one of my favorites since i was a wee babe. my dad has impecable taste in music so he taught me well. we still trade mp3s.

i'm glad movies like darjeeling bring great bands back to the forefront.

Yeah, I've been a Kinks fan for a long time too...but it seems like I'd forgotten about "Strangers" until I saw that movie recently. That's why you gotta love Wes Anderson, always pushing the Kinks tunes on people. :)
