God, Annie, that's such a beautiful comment. And I'm so very glad that people are starting to see Germany for more than just what happened during World War II. The majority of the people in Germany today weren't even alive back then. While it's never wise to forget history, I think it's definitely time to move on and embrace the future. ^__^

Oh sweetie.. *hugs you* I don't understand people blaming other generations from what happened in the past. I just don't get it. You should have never be in a position where you had to feel shame to be German. *hugs* I wish I was German ^_^ I do love your country.. and yes what happened was bad, but you or any generations after that time had nothing to do with it. I don't hold you or anybody accountable for it. Would not even cross my mind. But all that should go without saying ;) 'cuase you know I love you *hugs*

... and to add to your comment.. I am VERY VERY happy that the boys won that award. I know it is definitely a huge deal and I am very proud ^_^ I know how hard the've worked for it and they damn well deserved it!

And I know it's stupid, isn't it? Noone should feel ashamed about their Nationality, but there were times unfortunately, were you almost had to say sorry for being German. In a way I don't blame people, but still.....

And YAY! It's just so cute that they are still so happy about winning awards, and that they would never believe themselves that they actually would. LOL! Bless them.

I was going to rant about myself, but then thought that there was no point of comparison.

So yeah, so proud of them. Seems that music sometimes can achieve to change mental images quicker than diplomats.
