"they reiterated that the next head of the World Bank should be an American as has been every other head of the World Bank since its conception in the 1940's." + "We need the World Bank to be run by someone who is not from one of the industrialized nations just like the United Nations is headed up by Ban Ki-Moon from South Korea."

Hey Forest, a friend of a relative is moving down to DC to teach in a few months and is trying to figure out housing possibilities. I was wondering if I could give her your contact info, since you probably know a good bit about shared housing possibilities and where's a good place to live, and all that...
many thanks. :)

Sure, you can tell them to e-mail me at fdfisher AT gwu DOT edu, but I'm leaving for Costa Rica in 10 days and won't be back for 2 and a half months. Not sure how much help I would be. My main advice would be look for group houses in Columbia Heights, Mt. Pleasant, or near the Georgia Ave.-Petworth Metro Station. Those seem to be the best neighborhoods for group houses right now.
