I found this today when I was going through some old disks. It is a draft of a free write from Mr. V's "college writing" class back in high school. I don't recall the prompt it must have had something to do with memories, but it made me smile all the same. I wrote it back in 2001, that seems like such an incredible long time ago, but I can recall

Hi Alecia!!
Okay, so basically I was just reading my friends entries and I was like "oh look, something about camp!" Oh Sandy...she's great; I think that's a perfect way of describing Sandy. Show her if you'd like...it's ultimately what you think is right to do, and I don't know exactly how personal it is to you or the such - but it's very heartwarming to read and I'm sure she would appreciate it. Anyways, Sandy is great and she made me cry the day I left and it was weird but reading this made me think of that day and how when I looked at her all I saw were her eyes (which, yes, look old with experience and joy) and thought "what a fantastic person".

Anyways, I like it, it's great! I have to go back to my summer reading now, school starts tomorrow for me, eep!

this had me on the brink of tears and is heart warming. It is compleatly you choice but I think Sandy would love seeing this. it feels well ended to me.
