I don't think you should really take that as a special treatment towards women thing...
I just think that since chivalry was a "institution," that dates "back to the early centuries of Medieval Europe" .... and it basically originated with knighthood.. and men were knights... that's where they would have gotten that defintion from. Seeing as how chivalry was more or less a set of ideals than anything.

lol but i know what you mean.

Lol yeah yeah I know. But see like Colby's mom yells at him if he doesn't open the door for me. -.- lolz. and I'm like...really, it's okay. Like a car door I mean-- she wants him to get out of the car and go around and open it for me. I dunno I don't care that much it just is like making him go out of his way when I can just open it myself I guess. And if I try to go out of my way to help him/open a door, he kind of doesn't let me lol. If one should go out of their way, then everyone should. Or no one should at all because that's just weird. I mean like...respect me? Sure--but let me respect ya back. Yep yep.

lol! poor colby..so abused.

but. yeah. i'd feel dumb sitting there waiting for him to open my door. I dont like it when people do that... i think it's kind of cheesy. I do like it when people (guys) walk on the side of the sidewalk thats closer to the cars. I thought that was cute :)-

ahhz yes I agree. :) that's cute. yeah it just gets to me when it isn't practical lol--like having to get out of the car to open my door when I could just get it myself. Yep yep. Maybe in old times car doors were SUPER hard to open so it was actually more practical then...somehow >_> lolz.
