I felt the same way reading his Facebook page. Although I did not know him well, he added me as a Facebook friend a few months ago and was always nice to me - in spite of his "popular" status back in high school. It's tragic.

I also remember Eric Olson's death. He sat next to me in Practical Law. I remember rehearsing in the auditorium on October 19th and finding out. And I remember sobbing at his funeral during "Moonlight Sonata."

Russell, indeed, will surely be missed.

I know, I almost wanted to write something, but I didn't really know what to say there. So I wrote something in this one. It's just such a shock, and I just hope that his death doesn't put a weird spin on how people remember his life. I think that everyone who knew him will always remember the good, but boise idaho can eat peopel alive and i just hope that they leave the Mapp family alone.

Eric's death was so hard. Definitely the one of the bunch that I had been closest too. I had known him since like elementary day one - he always pissed me off because he was smart and i thought i was smart and he would always pick arguments with me. I think we even argued about how to pronounce the word "advertisement" or something. I had to tell Sara, his ex girlfriend of like years, about what had happened. She just fell to the floor. It was horrible. I remember his funeral exactly, and I remember rehearsing - I had already known at that point and I think I just started crying while we were playing.

anyway, no more i say!

Ugh, that is sad. Whenever I think about the Steve Chattin one I always feel like total shit.
