for all the modern hypocritical socially intfertiles out there living in self imposed isolation:

here is some more reading on the failing institution of marriage. laying blame noton the high fiving single women of the 21st century but rather on the child-men created by today's culture.

While it's nice that women aren't blamed for the child-man, it does assume that the same age women are dying to marry and settle down. It implies that women are in careers and independent simply as a bi-product of men being too immature to marry.

that's what i thought! on your way to a successful career is way more appealing that being pregnant with your second and married to the guy you went to homecoming with. blech.

also, it completely left out the part about how the housing market 3 decades ago was worlds more accessible to newlyweds in their early twenties. And those aforementioned newlyweds were probably not also saddled with debt from the now requisite college degree.

She does blame women, or she says the "feminists" blame the fact the men are threatened by women. Maybe I'm wrong. It was a long article and not as well written as the one about social infertiles.

i felt that it was implying that towards the end as well (though not quite so blatantly put as our favorite periodical the week)

I think everything she says about the SYM applies just as easily and with only slightly less frequency to today's single young woman. I match her description of the SYM far more than her somewhat implied idea of the "SYW."

i thought that a bit too. I mean how can you hold up playing video games as a sign of immaturity when the average video gamer is what? 38? something like that?

I won't disagree that playing video games instead of interacting with the real, corporeal world is frequently a form of escapism and can be identified as a sign of immaturity for that and other reasons, and that gentlemen probably compromise the majority of today's gamers. But she cited the single young woman's hobbies as, what, shopping and eating out? How does that indicate we're doing any better than they are?

Although, of course we are. :D
