This morning's Easter serice at church was all right. There were a lot of guests, so that is encouraging. The sermon was rather basic, but that is to be expected. Choir rocked the house (OK, not really...), but we did sound good, and it went well.

yeah i know what you mean... it's unfortunate that at big holidays like easter and christmas that the sermons are so basic. you would think that with so many more lukewarm attenders showing up, they sermons would have more substance. but i guess that's how everyone does it... maybe so as not to intimidate or scare away people. who knows...

with all the guests and whatnot, they try to keep it basic, present the gospel message, etc. buut i see your point and, yeah... i dunno. :-/
