Wow, it's been 4 months since I've been on here! Does anybody actually still have me on their friends list?!? (I.e., is anybody actually reading this?!?) If you are, I am quite impressed. :)

Aw! Have you? That's funny, I could say the same to you! (Long story... but I recently saw an aunt I hadn't seen since I was, like, 8 years old, and she kinda looks like you.) How have you been?

I've been good! There's A LOT going on here, but I'm hanging in there! I go back to school next week, so I'm doing all the last minute running around, getting clothes, etc.

Most importantly, I'm going to start the process to change my last name to Sam's! :D :D :D :D

How are you? What have you been up to?!

I am fine. I haven't been up to anything out of the ordinary, really. Busy, as always. Searching for a new job. Um... yeah. :-)

I haven't taken you off because I always enjoyed hearing about your tales of youth ministry. I thought about nudging you, but didn't think that I knew you well enough.

How is married life?

How is ministry?

nudging is allowed. ;)

married life is great. it's been 16 months now. we celebrated our 1st in reno. that was fun.

ministry is great. i currently have about half a dozen freshman and sophomore girls. we just had a week of camp in the mountains last month, that was lots of fun. some great decisions/commitments were made. tomorrow night i am taking the girls bowling, that should be entertaining. :)

how about you???

That sounds awesome to be involved in a ministry that is producing results ( ... )

I understand why that would bother you. I've seen similar situations myself. Unfortunately, sometimes we just have to "let go" of youth, and trust that God is still working on them and has a bigger & better plan... even if it doesn't seem like it at all right now.
