I read this when you posted it on Facebook and forgot to mention it at your house - very interesting article! I have mixed opinions on home birth, only because both my brother and I had massive health problems when we were born and needed immediate hospital care, but if you can have birth outside of a hospital it seems like the rational (better) thing to do. With my brother, my mom knew ahead of time that there was going to be a problem, so in a situation like that I guess you could change your plans and go to a hospital, if you were planning giving birth elsewhere.
