Beautiful! I love how you captured Danny's emotions of horror and grief, on 9/11 and the present day. And, it was just so bittersweet and wonderful that Steve was right where Danny needed him to be. :) Loved it!

I figured Steve would eventually seek him out (or vice versa) --too intense a thing to have happen to just it go. Thank you so much for reading, and for this!

This is so beautiful! Danny's emotions are so raw and so very Danny, and I love that Steve is waiting for him. Perfect!

I could see Danny finally getting back to what happened when he was along--and of course Steve would be waiting for him (or Danny would have driven over there eventually) Thank you tons for reading!

Ah, I love this. Of course it's all gonna come out of Danny, like a punch, because one hug wasn't enough and being strong and there for Grace was essential but a temporary relief. I'm glad he and Steve both have the time now, to let themselves be what they need to be - together. :)

Ohmigosh, I had this half written then read yours and almost shelved mine completely because I loved yours so much...so you know, many thanks for reading. and yeah, one hug is never enough--figured Danny would need more after he dropped off Grace. Thanks so much for this!
