I love BSG, especially what they've done this season. Sympathy for suicide bombing "insurgents"? Love it. They've really done interesting things with morality and politics this season. I pray it doesn't get moved to NBC and have the life sucked out of it. You can afford to be controversial on cable.

God, word to everything you just said. One of the things I love so much about BSG is that there are no moral absolutes. When I found myself agreeing with Tigh about the suicide bombings, I had to step back a moment and go, "Holy fuck, what am I thinking?" And then I had to applaud this show for having the balls to not just delve into the gray area, but to LIVE in it.

Best show on TV. Hands down.

Happy birthday!

Mmmm...McDonald's breakfast. I won't eat there for any other meal, but sometimes I crave a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, you know?

The precipitous decline of Studio 60 was very sad.

Did you hear the rumors that McDonald's might start serving breakfast ALL DAY LONG? God, that would be awesome. They really have the best fast food breakfast menu. I never eat regular meals there, either, but DAMN if those Egg McMuffins aren't awesome.

And seriously, Studio 60 disappointed the hell out of me. I loved The West Wing deeply, and had high hopes for the new Sorkin show, but ... no. Just no. I just feel like it's 60 minutes of Aaron Sorkin lecturing me, and that's not fun OR funny.

Really? YUM! I mean, um, that would probably be really, really bad for me. That 10:30 a.m. cut-off is really the only thing stopping me from making regular trips.

That's exactly it re: Studio 60. And the thing is that his commentary isn't particularly ground-breaking or insightful, either. And don't get me started on the preposterousness of the in-show Studio 60 being some brilliant sketch comedy show, when it so clearly is a rung even below current SNL.

THANK YOU. That is so fucking true. They lost me at the Gilbert & Sullivan operatic opening, which a) was not funny, b) was totally fucking pretentious, and c) just plain sucked. Most overrated show of the new television season. Hands-down.

And girl, if McDonald's starts serving breakfast all day long, then I'm totally screwed, too. Mostly because there's a McD's thirty seconds away from my apartment. OH GOD SAVE ME.

TISSA!!!!! *snogs you madly*

Also? I totally snagged that icon, because Yoshimi is totally the theme song of Kara Thrace. Or, well, the Pre!Leoben Kara. God, I love this fucked-up show. *g*

HEE! I still kind of think that Kara icon is the funniest shit I've ever made. :)

And I'm SO HAPPY you love BSG! I've been loving the current season, so much I don't even feel like posting about it, I'm just basking on its awesomeness.

[PS: I was just reading your previous post, and DUDE. I've been in fandom for 10 years too! I first got online around my birthday, in 1996. WHOA, scary! *g*]

That icon is the SHIT, yo. It's just perfection. :)

And YES to the BSG love. Oh God. I've gotten my younger brother addicted, and we call each other during the commercials to go, "HOLY SHIT DID YOU JUST SEE THAT??? THIS ROCKS!" And God help me, but I love it whenever we get to go behind the scenes of the Cylon Empire. This past week's episode was, like, orgasmic. *adores*

(I know! TEN YEARS! Oh, The X-Files, what did you DO to my brain???)

Dude, ANTM is the bestest show ever. I love the twins. And those cinnamon rolls are awesome in the morning.

Who do you think is going to have the chance to go on to be America's Next Top MODEL?

YES!!! I love Michelle and Amanda! (Though I'm partial to Michelle, because, y'know, I could actually score with her. *g*) I dread the episode when the first twin gets eliminated, because you SO know that's going to be the saddest thing ever. Even sadder than when they booted Brooke on the night of her high school graduation. MOST EVIL SHOW EVER.

And honestly? I think Melrose is going to win the entire thing. The other girls aren't even in her league, honestly. And I hope that if she does win, Tyra gives her a beret made of SOLID GOLD.

I think Melrose has the body but really doesn't have a chance because of her age. She looks great in pictures, but haggard in person. I really like Caridee. The only people I can actually see being models are Amanda and Michelle.

See, there's something about Melrose's face that I really love. I agree; she's a bit old to model, but those EYES of hers are just magnetic. The picture she did with the crazy hair-weave? PHENOMENAL.

And yes!!! CARIDEE! I adore her!

You know who I miss? Monique. Just because she was fucking AWESOME television. I mean, rubbing her dirty underwear all over Melrose's sheets? Priceless. Just priceless.
