So I'm home, kids. Have been since Wednesday actually. I love college and will miss some things about it but was definitely ready to come home for a little while.

Brokeback Mountain is a beautiful movie. Possibly one of the best movie's I've ever seen. I don't even know how to describe it. It captures so many emotions...so many truths that ( Read more... )

I really can't wait til Jan 6th to see BBM. I'll be wailing for days after though, as I was with the book. Seriously couldn't stop crying for about 3 days.

I am def going again either soon or in January when it's in wider release. I want to read the book so much now. I feel like the scene with the shirt at the end is probably even sadder in the book. Heath Ledger should get an award.

I'm going to read it again over xmas before I go see it again, but it's just so beautiful, she does so much with so few words. They're, to my mind, two of the most 'alive' characters in literature.

That's what I liked so much about it too. It's not even about the fact that they're both male, but the fact that they are both so unbearably human, so full of emotions and conflicts that everyone has somewhere in them.
