How I knew my grandmother did not love us.....

As I promised...here is the squirrel story. I will warn you that it is long. This is because I firmly believe that this story is only appreciated when you can actually picture yourself there. I need to really paint a picture here. It is long, and I love all of you who brave through this entire thing. It is funny...I promise.

Wonderful story! HA!

But I think grandma loved you. The maternal instinct did not carry over, is all. Perhaps granny had squirrel-a-phobia (or whatever they call it).

I can imagine it all... and imagine it all quite well! :)

I was afraid I put in too much detail but I really thought that the story needed it all. Plus I can still picture it so vividly in my mind...and hear my grandmother screaming.

I don't know....I still question the love. Of course I can remember a time over the summer when my friend Liz came over with her two kids to play in our backyard. A bunch of bees came out of nowhere causing Liz and I to run into the house screaming. It was only after we shut the door that we realized we had left our children outside. Guess sometimes the maternal instinct does shut down a bit. hehe

No actually this is my Dad's mother...who we called Grandma. My mother's mom is Baba. Thank the dear sweet Lord that Baba did not live 20 miles from us. I could be crazier than I am now! LOL

That was such a cute story! Is this Baba or is Baba your great-grandma?
