I was never really head over heels for them - though they are hillarious! The thing is, Cameron is a big shiny star trying to get used to being a househusband, Mitchell is a repressed, serious guy still struggling with bits of his sexuality. And whenever Cameron tries to be himself, Mitch gets defensive and cuts him down.
Doesn't mean they're not GREAT characters when they're on their own. Here's Cameron, with bits of Mitchel:
