brand new sucked. just putting that out there. also, i just discovered that for my linguistics minor, four of my courses have to be at or above 300-level. but i just looked at a listing, and the ones with interesting titles rest at the 200-level. quoi faire? not minor? how tragic that would be, as it's so deliciously impressive ( Read more... )

OKAY, SO I KNEW BRAND NEW WOULD SUCK BUT I FOUND OUT THAT PEOPLE SOLD TICKETS ON EBAY FOR $100+ MUCHO DINERO, RITE?! MISSED OPPORTUNITIES MAKE ME TYPE IN ALL CAPS!!!!

p.s. if you were hoping they would be great, then i apologize. it might make you feel better to gloat to people who desperately myspace messaged me to get them tickets. you could be like, "yeah, they're not that great but the tickets were free. haha, too bad you missed it."
(they would respond by exploding.)

I saw brand new 3 times opening for other bands I went to between ninth and tenth grade. Now I'm not way into brand new, but I dig some of their stuff. but they were horrendous every time live. THey have a reputation for a band who can only functino in a music studio where the drummer is kept ontime electronically and teh singer has computers to make his voice sound good.

So yeah, i can understand.
