why do so many of my dreams involve sharks and sharkbites?

i'm back from my extended spring break. i think i've all but picked a grad program for french. five years, that's a major investment of time. eep! but i think i'm prepared to love it. in fact, i think i'm about to become off-the-wall psyched.
