They're very pretty, but what are they for?

You use them in knitting to mark out sections of the pattern to help you keep track of where you are.

Can these types of stitch markers be used in crochet? I wouldn't think so, since there's no discernable opening...just curious. I don't know much about knitting (I crochet, and knitting doesn't really interest me), so I'm not sure how you'd get the markers out of the stitches with knitting, either. ;)

Some people make split-ring markers for crochet. I used to have some, but have sold them all and need to restock the wires I use. Some people use earrings for crochet, but the ones I use latch closed so if your work gets jostled, they don't fall out.

In knitting, they go on the needle and aren't put into the yarn at all. So when you get to where they are along the needle, you can just slip them off.

just so you know, #11 is marked wrong!
they're all lovely.
so the different one is like for when you're knitting in the round and they say to join and then mark the beginning of the round?

Oops... thanks!

Yeah. I didn't even think of doing header markers at first. They were the brainchild of one of the stores I sell to. I took my markers in to them and they were like, Well, we like the look of them, but we want you to make them shorter, for smaller needles, and make one of them different. And I was like, Brilliant!

I want a set, but I can't decide which one!!! They all look great. I think I want one of the sets that will fit up to size 10's or bigger. Hopefully I'll decide before they're gone. ;c)

Also, this is only, like, 1/3rd of what will be up on the site. The camera ran out of batteries while I was taking pictures, so I'm just putting up what I have so far.

Hey there!

I'd like to buy 1 set 8 and 1 set 11. I wanted set 14, too, but I think my husband would kill me. ;o) I'll do payment tomorrow, when I get paid.
