everyone agrees with that, I am sure. what I will NEVER EVER understand is a mother who allows her boyfriend to savagely beat her children, so she can have "her man". Yeah no kidding. Stuff like this is what motivated me to get my degree in social work. We live in a sick world at times. Ugh.

:( There is a video tape on you tube of a mother powerwashing her child as punishment in a car wash and another person is there and it went on for quite some time. They didn't show the parts where they stripped her down naked before tossing her in the back seat. They say she is about 3 years old.

The sad part, they are going to "keep an eye" on the mother.

Now it's one thing to have hearsay...quite another to have public videotape! Why do they need to keep an eye on anything?! FFS. Automatically remove that child.

But people that are reported anon get investigated and have nothing more than a dirty house and they get their kids taken away...

The system pisses me off. Child abusers piss me off.

I did see that on tv. At first I was like, omg what the hell. Then I got mad. to use that as PUNISHMENT? WTF? Wrong, wrong, wrong.

My heart goes out to little Matthew. He's going to need a lot of love and therapy and prayers to get through. I'm not glad Mia got hurt so badly, but I'm so glad she's no longer suffering at the hands of that monster.

Isn't that the very definition of tragic? Mia is in a better place. I only hope Matthew gets the therapy he will need. I hadn't seen a picture until the trial started and then I was sad and angry and sick all at once.

SEE! I know. It's ok to be interested in Sex, it's a normal part of life. It's how we all got here, but for Pete's sake, if that supercedes the needs of your child, uhhh wake up. I was hoping you would never say anything like this about your nieces. GAH that makes me sad.
