Cats and Dogs

Things have gone topsy turvy in my household. Justin wants a cat and I want a dog. This is not the natural order of things

Old English Sheepdogs are gorgeous! I do hope they don't make your allergy flare up. But if it does, apparently greyhounds are really good for people with dog allergies. Really short slick hair (and bonus lack of doggy smell).

Thanks! I would not be opposed to a greyhound. I've always wanted to get a rescue!

When my allergies became obvious, we started looking at bichons because my son's piano teacher has one and I have no reaction to her. But bichons are very expensive (usually $2,000+) or really poorly bred. And, honestly... I don't love the breed. So that didn't make sense.

I've loved OESs since I was tiny, so I've really got my hopes up. I used to have a stuffed one that I used as a pillow. I'm not quite sure what I'll do if I break out in hives around them.

I have had this open for a good long time now just trying to remember to get back to it to say,

Wow, that's a cute dog.

But yes, it's very weird for you to not be cat-seeking.

I think we're going to get the dog first and then get a cat later. I do love a kitty cat!
