A bit of celebration...
I've realized this just the other day and thought that this little anniversary had to be celebrated...
5 years ago, I decided to post the first chapter of my fiction Four Points of the Same Star..
It's a long time ago.. and the fic is still going on, in good and bad....
It's been five years since I entered the Detective Conan fandom and learned loads about the canon (because Italy is waay behind in the manga and the anime..) and read loads of fan fictions, enjoying them immensely.
For me, finding the fandom was a revelation. I didn't have a clue that there was such a thing..
After all this time, I can say that I'm still in the Detective Conan fandom, though I have little time to write. My knowledge of the canon has increased and my obsession for the Shinichi-Shiho pairing is still there.. Let's say that I'm just a little bit less taken by this manga than I was back then but I think that it's a thing that comes and goes..
I would have loved to post the last chapter of 4Points today but as usual, I couldn't make it to write it all. I'll work on it during the weekend and hope to post it soon..
Another thing has changed in these years...
I've browsed through a variety of fandoms and learned to like a lot of them. Harry Potter and One Piece are two that are giving way to much material to the famished plot bunnies in my brain....
And recently Naruto and Kyle XY are making there way into my head too...
Makes me wonder where my academic thoughts have gone... Is there still space in my brain with all the raving plunnies running around?!?

Five years.. wow..
I've also met (virtually) you guys in these years and some of you having been reading my stories from then..

It's nice to now that someone out there likes what you do..
... and waits to see what you'll be doing next..
Oh well, my ramblings are over. I just wanted to tell everyone of this anniversary.. ^_^ .
