Um. That is a little disturbing, though I get it. I heard of this guy who shaved his legs so he could remember what his dead wife's legs felt like under the covers. You never know what people will do in their grief.

Grief (well, and a few other scenarios) do strange things with us. I'm not yet sure, though, whether I find Sam's behaviour in this little fic disturbing or just plain sad.
