Opera and Hockey and Friends, oh my!

Okay, let's talk about opera for a second. Specifically, the one that I saw last night. I went to a performance of The Marriage of Figaro. Some of you may know that this is my favorite opera of all time and I have watches numerous productions and I have read numerous articles and I have given a lecture on it at the collegiate level

There is so much hockey to watch! I can barely keep up with it! The Hawks are killing me and last night was amazing. Kaner is a joy to watch. I can't think of another team that has so much skill on the ice at the same time, in such a dangerous way, and that includes the Pens, who are the team of my heart. And every time I look at Nail Yakobov, all I can think of is how much I wish Columbus had gotten the first draft pick, because then I could be watching him in person ALL THE TIME.

D - I don't know what do DO with myself and all the FEELINGS!!! The skill of the blackhawks and even the babies like Leddy and Shaw and Bollig...UGH.

I am SO excited that I will get to see Nail, Jordan, Hall, RNH, and Sam Gagner (be still my heart) LIVE. And then ALSO the Hawks. I mean, it's probably best that I don't live in an NHL town or else ALL my money would be blown on tickets but....*happy sigh*

I still don't know whether I should curse you or bless you for getting me into all this. (Without even trying, I know!)
