Every Christmas I swear i"m gonna write a paper about how Rudolph represents gender politics of the era. I also have plans to write about how the Flintstones and Jetsons are really about the fifties and sixties respectively, and how Darth Vader is the Fisher King, and Star Wars is basically the grail cycle.
