Oh, let's see? In brief, Hillary is too polarizing, there are people who hate her beyond all measure and I don't think she can win. On a personal level, I've gone from really liking her ten years ago to loathing her now. I think her behavior has been deplorable and her sense of entitlement is saddening. Uh-- hope it's ok that I was honest!
At this point, I'm not overly excited about either of them... but Hillary has more experience. I think this country really needs a big bitch to fix things.
Unfortunately, I think she may have created too much hatred for herself by being a bitch. If she were a man, it'd probably be a non-issue. It just goes to show you that maybe this country really isn't ready for a woman President. You know how it is- a lot of women don't like to be friends with other women... women are not supporting her the way you might think they automatically would.
I think Barack is basically a bunch of hot air. His heart is probably in the right place, but I don't really believe much of what he says. He seems like a big wuss to me.
I find it hard to believe with all of the racism in this country that a black man will be President anytime soon. I hope I'm wrong.
RE: Racism I had the same thought; I have to keep reminding myself that black men got the right to vote 50 years BEFORE women. I wonder if that's an indicator. I also wonder if people hold Bill "not having sexual relations with that woman" against Hillary.
If Hillary loses, I don't believe for a second that it'll have anything to do with Bill. I don't think many people care at all that the Monica Lewinsky thing. If anything, it probably made some people like him MORE.
I think the problem with Hillary is- and this is true of a lot of people- negative things are "shinier" and stand-out more than the positive. It's really hard for some people to get past such minor, negative things. They lose sight of all of the good that can happen, and it's truly unfortunate. People need to sit down and really think about this.
Those TV ads that Obama has right now are just about the slickest things I've ever seen. He's got some really great marketing people working for him. They are on at almost EVERY commercial break. Where are Hillary's ads??? I've not seen one. It's going to kill her.
I can't help but think that the Republicans are somehow responsible for getting Obama ahead of Hillary. They'd much rather have their candidate go against him than her, I'm sure.

I'm fed up with people harping that Hillary is polarizing and a bitch. it's so misyoginistic. If she were a man they'd be saying she was strong and decisive. She clearly is the most experienced democrat. I'm still waiting for some crazy Obama cheerleader to tell me why a smooth-talking charismatic speech reader is ready to be President
( ... )
She was on Ellen this week, and told a nice story about gay neighbors and wanting to make sure The Gays are protected and all. I worry about her not really making herself seen enough here in Indiana; Obama's people have come to our door and there are commercials several times a day (which claim to NOT be taking money from Big Oil), but nothing from Hillary.
He's lying in those ads. His contributions from oil companies has been thoroughly documented. He has a ton more money to spend on ads than Hillary. Kick some coin her way!
I started out as a Hilary supporter, but now im on Team Obabma. They would both do a better job that Bush, but I feel Obama has handled himself better in the media. I wouldnt be a bit dissapointed if Hil got the nomination though.
