Someone today complained about Thelma and Louise (Scott - 1991) as a "feminist statement."  I suppose that's because it's so unusual for there to be female main characters?

Freaks and Geeks netflix marathon tonight and tomorrow -- playing discs 3, 4, and 5. I never realized Joe Flaherty was in this.  What fun the writers must have had putting him in the Dracula costume for the Halloween episode!  Certainly made me want to see some SCTV.  And I had this urge to call my whole family when he wanted everyone to play Pit!  ( Read more... )
