new computer

so im in the process of looking for a new computer & i need advice...

its between a mac and a sony viao.  i would orefer a mac, but i dont know if i will be able to run all my arch & design programs as easy as on pc.. ie: autocad, rhino, adobe, etc....  please let me know if ytou know anything about these two computers -- pros & cons, etc..

sony vaios are amazing, however I heard that if you get a mac they now have a program where you can run regular programs at the same time as your apple programs...it's worth looking into.

Okay, for you I recommend neither. The VAIO is way overpriced for what it is, a mac would be way better. Except the software will be nigh impossible to pirate for your architecture purposes. I know they're both pretty, but I'd look into a Dell if I were you. The XPSes (at least, I think that's what they're called) are quite nice. Dell laptops have awesome reutations. Awesome service and whatnot.
