Date: 1 July 2003
Characters: Oliver Wood and Finbar Quigley
Location: The Café
Status: Private
Summary: An offer of a helping hand
Completion: Incomplete

When Finbar had first seen the posters around Annwn asking for people to pose for a calendar, his initial reaction had been to go seek out either Oliver Wood or Clint Warrington. His second had been to just pretend he hadn’t seen it, and hope that the calendar turned out brilliantly. His vanity had called for him to be in this calendar, his missing of Quidditch and true involvement with the game had made him wait. Now that he had heard a bit about the project from Cho’s partner, he knew that he had something to offer them.

It was also through Cho’s work he had found out who Warrington was. Yeah, he had heard of his family, they were moving in the same circles as his family, and he wasn’t certain that was the way to go. It would be too much ‘old money’ involved for his liking if that was the way to go. Wood, on the other hand, he had seen him while he played for Puddlemere, even been lucky enough to catch a few of his matches at Hogwarts. He had an obsessive streak to him, well, really, most Quidditch players did, but Wood’s was… spectacular. It got the work done, and it usually got done properly.

Yeah, what Warrington and Wood were working on was good, and Finbar knew he had something to bring to it as well, so along with Thisby, he made his way down to the café, just after the lunch rush would have been finished. The girl waiting on the table he had sat down by was pretty… and young. She had a nice smile, and really knew how to charm up the chances of a good tip.

“Could you send out Oliver Wood please, miss,” he requested after he had ordered his lunch. “Bring Thisby, and have her help out with anything that needs done until Wood gets back.” He sent her a smile of thank you, and nodded to Thisby that it was alright for her to follow the young girl to the back.
