Demelza sat in the little outdoor tables of Truffles, and nursed her coffee as she waited for her dessert to come. Annwn didn't hold the interesting appeal that she wished it had, but with the Quidditch season ending already and her town being filled with Quidditch fans who knew of her humiliating loss. Olivia was occupied with her husband and kids, so she couldn't really distract Demelza. Her brother was actually away at a friend's house visiting for pat of the summer.
The night before Demelza had officially said goodbye to Isabella. Isabella had cried and cried but Demelza had held strong, blowing her now ex-girlfriend a kiss goodbye before she left.
Twelve hours later, Demelza wished she could just crawl back into bed with Isabella, because she was truly bored.
The waitress came with Demelza's Creme brulee ad refilled her coffee. "Thanks," Demelza muttered absently.
