VISUAL: Well, she’s a tall humanoid with long dark hair and blue eyes. Leela is slim, but, as a warrior, she’s deceptively strong and stronger / more muscular than you’d expect. She is habitually dressed in animal skins and armed with her trusty knife.
AURAL: Leela can speak softly or loudly, depending on the circumstances, but when she’s angry, she’ll make no attempt to hide it. She rarely uses contractions like ‘don’t’ or ‘won’t’ and, consequently, occasionally sounds oddly formal. Apart from that, however, she tends to use simple phrases and breaks down difficult concepts into ideas that are easier to understand.
OLFACTORY: Well, she smells like a human dressed in animals skins, really. (Clean animal skins, though. She does live on Gallifrey.) She also spends as much time as possible outdoors - not an easy feat, giving that she lives in the Capitol - and, consequently, has a fresh, natural, outdoor-sy sort of sent.
DEMEANOUR: Leela is the archetypal noble savage. She isn’t cultured or refined - and can be hot tempered at times - but she’s also determined and loyal and a lot cleverer than she looks. (In fact, she often pretends to be stupid, because you can learn and accomplish a lot when people underestimate you.)
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: The reaction will largely depend on the character. There is a good chance that she'll hit you.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: She'll fight back, but you're welcome to try.
RELATIONSHIPS: She is Romana’s presidential bodyguard, a former travelling companion of the Doctor’s and, although it’s difficult to earn her friendship and respect, she’s fiercely loyal once you’ve managed it. Hurt her friends and she’ll stop at nothing to right the wrong. When it comes to romance, Leela was badly burned when her husband, Andred, betrayed her. I won’t say no, but it’d have to be built up slowly.
PSYCHIC / PSIONIC INFORMATION: Well, she’s a normal human, so you won’t find anything out of the ordinary in her head. Although the knowledge of Gallifrey and the things she’s seen during her travels might be of interest.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: Again, she’s a perfectly normal human. No magic here.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Leela is human and, consequently, has all of the weaknesses associated with that. She’s a warrior, but she bruises and breaks as easily as anyone else if you can get past her defences. She used to be blind but, thanks to some nanobots provided by Braxiatel, her eyesight has now been restored. She is also a lot older than she looks, but, because she spends most of her time on Gallifrey, the Time Lord biofields associated with the regeneration process maintain her youth. If she ever left the planet permanently, the years would catch up with her very quickly.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS / TRIGGERS: No, although she's rather sensitive when it comes to Andred and, for that matter, Romana. And she doesn't like being called any variation of 'stupid savage'.
