My Remote Sensing and Image Processing professor, Zhang, is Chinese and he was telling us today about how last year was a good year to get married and this year is a good year to be born, so he predicts a baby boom.

Oh geez, I hope there's not a baby boom just because this is a good year to be born in. But then again, I have known a couple people who would base their entire reproductive strategy on that little bit of lore.

Thanks. \(^___^)/ Happy Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras/(belated) CNY to you too. ♥

BTW, is there a reason why you don't use any white space between your paragraphs? You just prefer it that way? (?_?)

Hmm, never really thought about the spacing between my paragraphs, but it does make it easier to read. I'll try to put spaces in from now on.

The Chinese Zodiac has always interested me, though I was born in the year of the Metal Cock. Which has always been a bit of an embaressment but also a bit funny. That zodiac matches me far better than being a Virgo does.

Eheheheheh, you said "Cock".
Seriously, it could be worse, you could've been born in the year of the Wood Cock.
I've read about Virgos, and you don't strike me as a typical Virgo, either. But you're not stuck up, either, as some Chinese Horoscopes say about people born in the year of the Cock.

But I'm not a typical "Pig" personality, either. I only have about half the attributes listed for people born in Pig years.

Don't worry, you won't have all the personality qualities because everyone is different. Those are just a listing of the characteristics most associated with a certain sign. Also, you aren't made up of just one animal. You also have an zodiac sign for the month and hour of your birth.

For instance, I was born in the year of the water Ox, month of the rooster (September), and hour of the hare (5am - 7am).

You could also factor into you Western astrological signs and your numberology number(s). *^-^*

Thanks for reminding me, I knew about the month and hour stuff, but totally forgot. If memory serves me right, I was born in the hour of the Rat, but I'm not quite sure on what animal the month of Feb is represented by.
