Went to the Fukui "Suicide Cliffs" today, which are basalt rock structures along the Sea of Japan. And yes, people really have offed themselves by jumping into the ocean. Nice place, despite the reputation, and I got my first real look at the ocean. Also went to a fish market along the coast, and ate an early dinner of what had been caught that ( Read more... )
