1. wrisomifu is done for another year! I'm reasonably happy with how I did; I finished my web site redesign, and I wrote something every day, though not always fiction, which is what "writing" means to me

I know right? I wonder, if I bring this image with me to the tree place, could they find me one that looks like this? I want a kind of wonky skinny one with lots of hanging space between the branches.
Thank you SO MUCH for pointing me towards wrisomifu. It was precisely what I needed last month. I actually finished one fic and started another three. I'm kind of amazed at what you can accomplish in 10 minutes. It's such a fun comm and so friendly. Thank you! ♥
And that is the sweetest tree ever. I have a little poinsettia that is cheering me up.
Yay! I'm so glad wriso was good for you--I really love it. There's something so comforting about a comm where failure is celebrated just as much as success. :D I didn't actually finish a fic in November but I know if I keep up the 10 minutes a day I'll get there. I'm hoarding hot chocolate as we speak.
(Poinsettias are so cheery! If I don't find the right scrappy little tree I may bury my mantel in them instead. Last year I didn't decorate that much so this year I'm due for some extra festiveness.)
I know that painting. I admired it when I stayed with you, I'm glad it has a frame and a space on your wall finally! Sunlight and cactuses, such a simple but memorable painting.
