I guess it was the right decision to install a spam-comment filter on my blog, because I just checked it and I have three spam comments already. Amazing considering my blog only has three posts so far. How do they even find me? A Lana Del Rey fansite pretending to be a person wants me to know how much she always loves "what I put up there." Huh, interesting! Yesterday I got a comment notification via LJ on one of my posts to lifein1973... and it was about "where to unlock iphone 4". Luckily I was able to nuke it within only a few minutes, but still.

Mind you, it's the first one I've seen on anything I've posted, so maybe there's a surge in spam at the moment? *has no idea how these things work*

Oh, it wasn't on my LJ that I got spam--how annoying that must be for people who run communities, though! My LJ is set not to be indexed by search engines so I've never gotten spam here, luckily. The spam is coming to my new wordpress blog that I started for my business. There was another this morning, grr! It's a little vexing to be found by spammers before (afaik) actual humans. I really didn't think it would start so soon!
