Oh Kristi... I wish I would have been there to laugh at you ;)
Little Africa sounds amazing! I love going to Somali/Ethopian resturants. There's a great place in Columbus if you wanna go this summer; it's totally authentic (women have to sit in a separate part).
Are you coming home for Easter? (probably not, but I wish!) Anyway, I am also at a loss of preparing myself for Holy Week; this was the first Palm Sunday that I didn't sing traditional songs at church (depressing). I always take communion on Thurs. of Holy Week, and my church isn't having a service as well as the fact that I'll be in class(very disappointed). Have you ever read The Final Week of Jesus by Max Lucado? (amazing book)
nuclear proliferation? sounds completely appetizing! I wish I had some real college classes right about now; somedays I wish I went to a real university!
We'll have to go to Ethiopian restaurants this summer. The food was alright, nothing I would want to eat a lot. Perhaps we can check out some Middle Eastern restaurants as well? I think I would like that better. Mmm!
Right now I'm drinking strawberry juice. DELICIOUS!
It's gorgeous outside. Not too cold, not too warm, and very sunny. Too bad I have to spend the afternoon and evening stuck behind the desk at the library. Ugh.
The discussion about nuclear proliferation was really good but depressing. We concluded that no matter what we do the threat of nuclear war will always be there. We can't destroy all of our nukes or destroy the knowledge of how to make them. Now that they are created there is no turning back. There's always the Security Dilemma that will keep it going (basically the fact that to secure yourself you arm yourself as well as the threatening country has, leading to escalation in arms, even if there is no real threat, there's a perceived threat).
