Room 335 - Friday Morning

Mar 24, 2006 08:51

Victor sat crosslegged on the floor near his bed and looked out the window. The sun had just come up, and birds were singing in a nearby tree. Despite the cheery day, Victor definitely didn't feel very cheerful. No, not at all.

Yesterday had been...horrible, to say the least. He'd woken up in a coccon of his own skin, grown some claws, pretty much disembowled his boyfriend, and made an ass of himself. As expected, he felt like shit. And what hurt the worst was that everyone had been so ready to forgive him, so ready to accept him despite the danger he represtented. Their love tore him apart, and he wondered why.

And Walter...he didn't know what he was going to do with him. Even as Walter was getting stiched up, all he could ask about was Victor. Where was Victor? Was Victor okay? And yet...he had said something hurtful, something that confirmed Victor's fear that he and the boy he loved couldn't be the same again. He groaned and rubbed his face, albeit a little warily. When he had woken up the claws were gone, but he could still feel a tingling in the tips of his fingers and toes.

On the other side of the room. Bot made a questioning sound and wobbled around from the other side of the dresser. "Hey, Bot," Victor sighed. "What do you think I should do, huh?

Bot, being a robot, really didn't have much of a higher intelligence. He knew, though, that something was definitely wrong, so he wobbled over and tried to hug Victor's leg. "Thank you," he said, because he knew that the not-so-big man (Walter?) liked him to say it, so maybe friend (Victor?) would like it, too.

Victor smirked and picked Bot up. "Did Walter teach you that?" He sighed again and put Bot in his lap to wind him up some more. "Maybe you're right. Maybe I should just apologize and talk with him about it. Be grateful instead of running away, y'know?" He set Bot back down and fished under the bed for a paper ball, which he threw for Bot to chase. When he reached under for another one, his hand touched something rubbery, and he pulled it out with curiousity. When he saw what it was, he couldn't help smiling a little bit. It was the duct tape rose Walter had given him months ago, when they'd first started dating. He had no idea how it got under there, but he got up to put it on his dresser anyway.

[ooc: Open to you-know-who! No, not Vizzle...the other one! :p]
