Oh, and if you have time (and like ginger) pick up some candied ginger to nibble - you can get it at Trader Joe's or any local health food store or decent supermarket. Trust me. It works on anything from travel queasiness to morning sickness.

Hmm. Well, I think I like ginger. Sometimes anyway. So I may look for candied ginger while I'm out and about tomorrow. I know we have a Trader Joe's in town, though it's a bit of a drive and I'm not exactly sure where it is. I guess I'll poke around the supermarket first because Local Supermarket is pretty nifty since it got new owners and does have some pretty far out food sometimes, so it might not be impossible. Not that my shopping plans or local stores are really of any interest to you.

Ginger Chews are another great source of tummy-quieting ginger candy (I personally like them better than plain candied ginger), and you ought to be able to find them at Trader Joe's or Awesome-sounding Local Supermarket.

And also, Heath Ledger as Joker? I heard about that too. Yeah, okay, he's kinda hot, but that's not really the point. I saw A Knight's Tale and Brokeback Mountain, and he was good in the latter, if you like mumbly violent guy you can't understand-types. I've never seen him as someone as psychotic as the Joker. He better do an awesome crazy laugh, is all I'm saying.

Whenever the Joker is drawn kinda hot it gives me the heebiejeebies something fierce. I don't want to be attracted to the Joker. Wrongwrongwrong. I've been thinking about it more and I'm not even thinking Heath as the right kind of on-screen energy for the Joker. Maybe I need to look at something where he played someone more intense or something, but I dunno. Erg. I hope someone changes their mind and they pick a different actor.
