I missed last week because I went to see the recent West End production of Merrily We Roll Along in the movie theatre which was amazing. Yesss, Merrily come to me. Here's hoping they release that filmed version on DVD because I would totally watch it over and over. Even if I spent most of the movie crying because it's ridiculously sad at heart. Oooh, what did you think of The Cuckoo's Calling? I thought it was a good solid mystery, though not addictive like the Harry Potter books.

I did really enjoy it! Rowling's quite a mystery writer, and I'll definitely be reading more books about Strike and his BFF Robin. (SHE NAMED THE SIDEKICK ROBIN. I JUST -)

But if you haven't read it? Gods of Gotham. I read it right after Cuckoo's Calling & it's RIDICULOUSLY good. 1845 NYC as they try to start the first police force. I'm pretty in love. (Though there was a lot of gore)

I am not that good with gore, but maybe I'll give it a try at Christmas break when I'll have plenty of time.
