A completely and (relatively) totally shallow comment, but I think John was far too skinny post-Beatles! I mean, sometimes he looked all right, but I've seen far to many pictures of him that actually made me cringe and say, My God, eat some FOOD! (I admit being partial to Help!-era John.)

Any opinions on this, assenting or dissenting?

You know how you sometimes see a couple that you know have been married for a long time and you think, "Damn. That wife/husband should stop eating all the food and feed her/his partner!"...? That's what I think of when I see pictures of JohnandYoko.

Here here! I like my John nicely tubby, thank you. :)

And plus with his bone structure he kind of needs some baby fat on his face. To, y'know, offset the giant Lennonbeak of doom. <3

I don't understand why his weight even matters. He looks fine either way... in my opinion, anyway haha. The man could be dressed in a banana suit and I'd still think he was handsome.

I think most people would agree with you, though. But I don't really care, he looked good as Fat Elvis and he looked good afterward too.

I love John and the fact that he promoted peace, but I a have to say I've always preferred Paul's music post-Beatles. Many times it feels like it's the cool thing to say that John's your favorite, but, musically, I like Paul better.

As for Yoko, I've given up trying to form an opinion on her. I feel like any pure hatred towards her is silly, but I have a hard time liking her at times. Once I think I like her, I'll hear something that makes me wonder. So I'm pretty ambivalent as far as she's concerned.

I really love all his peace efforts and how he dedicated himself to peace activism.

I do not like Yoko as in I don't like her influence over John, but I am now stupid enough to just say "meh, I don't like Yoko so her art is crap" (I'm not saying everyone who hates her art is like this, I mean I think people who just say she's crap because they don't like her are stupid)... I think her art is brilliant and her beliefs/points/opinions/whatsoever (the ones I know of) are really great, for I've got this little hippie side on me.

Ah, whatever. I don't even know what I'm saying anymore.
